Tess is a full time artist and lifelong art student, focusing her practice on oil painting, sculpture and fiber arts. Before that, she was an attorney for three decades. Before turning to a more formal art practice,

Tess made her home and family her canvas for art projects, painting or bedazzling anything or anybody that would hold still in her colorful, maximalist style.

Now, her works leans toward contemporary portraiture and figurative painting. Tess also designs and makes clothing and household items, refurbishes furniture and other household goods or reimagines them as sculpture, staying true to her maximalist style of vibrant color and textures.

Tess is a mother of three humans and two dogs. She and her family love to travel, hike, read and play with legos.
